Guide Profiles

Lorenc Konaj
Trip Leader/Mountain Guide

Having jumped into the outdoors at the age of seven - and never gotten out of it :) I became more than passionate and fell in love with the natural environment and pristine wilderness of what was then know as Yugoslavia. I soon discovered my other joy in life, that of sharing the beauty of the region with all those visiting this little corner of the globe - place so fortunate and rich in culture, history and gorgeous nature. I am a certified Mountain Guide and Ranger for the BiH Mountain Association and member of a Mountain Rescue Team. When not leading trips I am responsible for training of tour leaders and mountain guides for both Green Visions and our partners. My other interests are Transcendental Meditation, nutrition and the environment. I received my degree from the Maharishi European Research University, Switzerland in the Science of Creative Intelligence.

Samer Hajric

Samer is originally from Sarajevo, Bosnia and Herzegovina, and leading Green Visions trips for 13 years already. He is a member of a Mountain Rescue Team, Certified mountain guide by Mountaineering Union of Bosnia and Herzegovina and UIAA standards (Official International Mountaineering and Climbing Federation), and has a degree in Sociology. He has done a lot of researches about small mountain communities during his studies. His knowledge, passion and love for the mountains make every trip a delightful experience. "In year 2000 was my first touch with magical world of the mountains. My passion for the mountains and the rigours of the outdoors, combined with the warm-heartedness of the local people, left an indelible impression on me. It will be my great pleasure to show you this part of the world and area which takes special place in my heart – the Dinaric Alps”.

Alen Causevic
Trip Leader/Mountain Guide

I was born and raised in Sarajevo, where I have lived until the end of 94, when I left to Croatia due to the war and six months later had gone to the USA. For over ten years, I have lived mostly in the northeastern region of the States, and there I attended Clark University, majoring in Business and Economics. Afterwards, worked a few office jobs, until I came to home to Bosnia and Herzegovina, where I have been working mostly outdoors. In the wintertime as a snowboarding instructor, and in the summer as a Green Vision guide, so I enjoy the fact my office space expanded considerably :). I always loved different sport, but soccer is the one I have played the most competitively. I have been skiing since very young age and snowboarding for over 12 years, hiking in the summer or winter at my early teens until this day. Since the age of five, I used a bicycle as a way of transportation and trill seeking. Thanks to my parents, I have developed love and fascination for natural world. In nature, my senses become sharper and I feel balance, serenity, fulfillment, and inspiration. Perhaps, calling it the Mother Nature is more appropriate.

Anaid Begovac
Trip Leader/Cultural guide
My name is Anaid Begovac and I'm from Sarajevo, Bosnia and Herzegovina. Since 2007 I'm an local City guide in Sarajevo, while for Green Visions I work since 2010, where I 'm focused mostly on cultural trips (especially in Bosnia and Herzegovina, Montenegro and Croatia). Beside that I'm a history student so I'm trying to put a lot of emphasis to present our guests the amazing past, of not only Sarajevo, but the whole Western Balkan region. Our guest should feel comfortable, relaxed and especially welcome, which is the most important thing for me. They should also take something with them, an experience and memories of a good time spent. That is my notion of tourism and what it should be.
I'm looking forward to be your guide.
