A great combination of biking, hiking at oldest National Park in Bosnia and rafting through the Tara Canyon, the deepest gorge in Europe.

You MUST be fit for this one and it requires previous biking experience!

    Day 1:

After about two hours transfer to Sutjeska National Park and Hotel check in, we will start our bike ride over meadows of Zelengora to Vrbnica village, Crno lake & circularly back down to Tjentiste. We end the day directly at our Hotel.

Accommodation: Hotel Mladost, Tjentiste Meals: L,D

    Day 2:

This morning we take transfer to Lokva Derneciste (approx. 1 hour) and head for Bosnia’s highest peak, Maglic Mountain (2,386m), through forest and open mountainous terrain. The ascent itself will take approximately 3-4 hours over fairly well-maintained mountain trails with steep cliffs and is by far the most demanding part of today’s trek. Please note it is not recommended for anyone suffering from vertigo. Each step takes us further above the surrounding peaks until we reach the summit. Here we have lunch and enjoy wonderful views over Montenegro and of our next stop, the emerald green waters of Trnovacko Lake. After descending to the lake in the afternoon we head for Prijevor enjoying the soft glow of the setting sun above Zelengora and Maglic, Bosnia’s highest peaks. Here we meet our transfer back to Tjentiste and down to Drina river.

Tonight we stay at simple wooden bungalows next to the river, enjoying the sound of water and campfire.

Accommodation: Bungalows (with bedding), Tara river Meals: B,L,D

    Day 3:

After delicious breakfast, today we go for Tara river, the one of the four beautiful whitewater rivers in Bosnia and Herzegovina that offer professionally guided rafting tours. Tara river ranks among Europe’s best for class II – IV. This Tara River Rafting Tour will pleasantly surprise you with its stunning wilderness and unforgettable landscapes. Our skippers from Highlander team are certified by the International Rafting Federation. A jewel amongst the world’s natural heritage spots the Tara River boasts the largest canyon in Europe. The river follows the border with Montenegro, and is 140 kilometers of natural wonder. The 1,300 meter canyon has created some of the best rafting and kayaking in Europe. This oasis and protected area has a long tradition of extreme water sporting and easy family outings that can accommodate a wide range of outdoor enthusiasts. After Rafting and homemade lunch, we will be transferred back to Sarajevo. Meals: B,L
